The Barbados National Trust is a registered charity and a non-profit body founded in 1961 by an Act of Parliament. Mr. Ronald Tree was the founder and first president.  The mission of the Trust is to preserve the unique heritage of our island home, be it historic buildings and sites, or places of natural beauty or of environmental importance. We are affiliated through our aims, goals and structure to the following international National Trusts.
