Hike Barbados started 25 years ago, in 1983, with twelve hilkers.
Over 8000 people now Hike Barbados each year.
Hiking for all of these 25 years is the Trust's General Manager, William Gollop, who has experienced all of the changes over the quarter century.
The objective is to help Barbadians and visitors enjoy and understand this amazing island - scenery, people, plants, animals, buildings, beauty, ugliness, history, geology, sea, sky, weather. . .
The hikes are FREE but donations are welcomed for the work of the Barbados National Trust ( preserving our built and natural environment ).
